ABOUT ME

My career journey has been the most humbling and authentic journey to embellish on, having had a dynamic command for the English language from a young age, winning multiple writing competitions, and using my flare to champion my love for magazines and creative direction. From the age of 17, I have been penning music reviews for publications like We Plug Good Music, which was put on pause to complete my Journalism degree at the University of Arts London, where I delved toward feature writing and opinion pieces. As of July 2020, I graduated with a 2.1 and have been working as a freelance writer/journalist and stylist since.

I am now the Editor-In-Chief of Mixtape Madness, where we cover all things in music and entertainment, particularly in the UK scene. Managing a team of talented and innovative journalists, we are always making sure our platform is at the forefront of culture internationally. Recently, I have also been working as a Marketing Lead in our music label provision, helping create and execute marketing campaigns both digitally and physically.

 

Formerly the editor of Industry Me and Arts and Culture Editor for New Wave Magazine.

Gratefully, my work within the music industry has been growing, from penning detailed reviews for the publications above, and interviewing musicians for magazine covers, there is still so much I want to achieve. 

 

My love for writing, interviewing and championing stories, has helped me build a reputable and high-quality service that meets all targets. Working alongside Major Labels, PR companies, and publications that provide beneficial and effective all-round services.

 

Conducting think pieces, and interviews and working closely within their Fashion sector. As well as a freelance writer, I also get to indulge in my visual creativity as a freelance stylist, working alongside established stylists with credits from The Guardian, Sony Music, and many more.
